mutt fetchmail msmtp procmail and Evolution too

I have recently started posting some small patches to a few open source project.

For posting patches on the webmail or GUI mail clients are pathetic ,they mess up your patches

The best way to send patches is use a simple console based mail client like mutt

I can edit my mails in mutt and thereby avail all the feature which the legend provides.

directly read output of diff commands in my mail etc.

or its cool to use with GIT as well

msmtp a simple SMTP

fetchmail to pop my mails from GMail

procmail to filter and place in appropriate bins

this setup is best suited for my open source related stuff

But I cant do away with HTML, so i tell evolution to read mail from my spool

now i get best of both the worlds
